The Crossroads is a community of believers that are passionate about our relationship with God.  We believe the only way to truly be a Christian is to be madly in love with our Heavenly Father.

“We love Him because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

fellowshipLOVE OTHERS

A deep revelation of the Love of God always points to the simple fact that God’s love was always meant to be shared with one another.  A relationship with God is fulfilled by how we love others.
“Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14

Loving God and Loving Others should always lead to a heart longing to introduce the world to our Savior.  Not simply in words but by actions meeting the needs of the world around us so that they are impacted by God through us.
“Let your light shine before others…and give glory to your Father.” Matthew 5:16

Impacting Lives for Christ

You and I were created to worship, it’s in our DNA.  The object of our WORSHIP must be God as He only is the only One truly worthy of our WORSHIP.  But WORSHIP is much more than signing!  WORSHIP is found in multiple forms and, here at The Crossroads, we believe we should WORSHIP with all that we have…drama, singing, dance & etc.

Discipling our kids is a top priority at The Crossroads.  We’ve invested time, money and talent in our Children’s Ministry, which we refer to as “Kids Konnect,” in the hopes that we prepare our kids to be strong Christians throughout their life.  Our kids are taught by a dedicated Pastor with 20+ years experience working with kids.

If you are in the 6th – 12th grade you are part of our 4:13 Student Ministries. 4:13 is based off the 13 verse of Acts 4 which says: “when they saw that they were ordinary men who had been with Jesus, they were astonished.” We believe that what makes you and I great, more than just ordinary men and women, is our time with Jesus.  That’s what 4:13 Student Ministries is about, introducing students to the real Jesus.

As much as we were created to worship we were also created for fellowship with God and that’s what is at the very heart of our PRAYER ministry.  PRAYER is essential in every believers life. as they build their relationship with God, but it is also vital for the Church.  Our PRAYER ministry serves the Church by providing a PRAYER team that works with the Pastor before, and during, service.  We also have a prayer chain that provides timely prayer when situations arise throughout the week.

It’s not enough to say ‘We are the Church’ without actually going out and being the Church.  The Crossroads sees our role in our community, our country and the whole world, as a Church that Intersects Lives with Christ.  We do this by hosting monthly opportunities to give our of our time, talent and treasures in our community.  We also host yearly trips throughout the US and abroad.

Being a disciple of Christ not only means fellowship with God but it also deeply depends on our fellowship with one another.  At The Crossroads we understand the value of each and every person in the Church and realize that by bringing the body of Christ together, in smaller groups, we are able to grow in our walk with God.  Proverbs 27:17 states: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.

He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God.

Jesus is the Son of God.

He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.

The Holy Spirit lives in each Christian from salvation.

The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible is God’s Word to us.

The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.

People are the supreme object of God’s creation.

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.

Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it.

We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

People will exist eternally with or without God.

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism to “fulfill all righteousness.”

The Bible indicates giving is to be a “first” and not a last or left-over matter in my life. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. It is easy to let our standards and intentions be compromised by the press of expenses and billing cycles. Online, your giving is done automatically.
Have you ever forgotten your gift, left it at home, or pledged to double it in the future? Have you had times where you have fallen behind because of travel and other schedule interruptions? Online giving provides a way to strengthen your faithfulness.
Through online giving, you expedite your gift, simplify our accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support. As you plan and prioritize your giving, you will lead the way for others to grow and mature in their spiritual stewardship.
